We are looking for a Digital Print Technician to join our team!

As a Digital Print Technician, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. You will work with a variety of digital printing technologies, including laser printers, inkjet printers, and digital presses. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will ensure efficient production processes and exceptional print quality.
Responsibilities

1. Printing Operations: Set up print jobs, load paper and ink/toner cartridges, and adjust settings as necessary to achieve desired results.
2. Job Preparation: Review print job specifications, including file formats, color profiles, and finishing requirements. Perform preflight checks to identify and correct any potential issues before printing.
3. Quality Control: Monitor print output for quality and consistency throughout the production process. Conduct regular checks to ensure accurate color reproduction, sharpness, and image resolution. Make adjustments to print settings as needed to maintain quality standards.
4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance tasks on digital printing equipment, such as cleaning print heads, replacing consumables (ink, toner, paper), and calibrating color settings. Troubleshoot technical issues, including paper jams, print head alignment problems, and print quality issues.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels of printing supplies, including paper, ink, toner, and other consumables.
6. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs at times
• Manual dexterity as needed to operate and utilize a variety of equipment and tools
• Previous experience operating digital printing equipment, including familiarity with various print technologies and RIP software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a mechanical aptitude for maintaining and repairing printing equipment.
